In order to fulfill the transparency obligations mentioned in the previous paragraph, the following information is presented:

1. Institutional

The Hotel Gran Rey was born with the intention of integrating itself into its natural environment, avoiding exerting pressure on the natural environment, and meeting the demand for this type of establishment in an area with growing tourist demand, whose only offer was previously composed of apartments.

The Hotel Gran Rey was inaugurated on November 15, 1996, is a 3-star category, has 99 rooms (198 beds), and has an average staff of 42 employees. It is located on the island of La Gomera, specifically in La Puntilla, on the coast of the municipality of Valle Gran Rey, within the Rural Park of Valle Gran Rey and the surroundings of the Garajonay National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Its activity is mainly aimed at customers who love sports and nature, looking for a type of vacation committed to nature and health.

One of the hotel's main principles is to work for sustainable tourism, and in the island where we are located, it cannot be understood otherwise. In this sense, the hotel has a consolidated environmental, quality, and social commitment.

Hotel Gran Rey seeks to retain those who know it. It seeks tourism with a high environmental awareness, knowledgeable about the environment they are visiting and interested in its preservation. Tourism that, far from harming or reducing, protects and promotes the opportunities that this island deserves.

A small-sized establishment in terms of built surface area and building density, which has managed over time to exceed the expectations of its guests. With a firm commitment to maintaining and respecting its environment, being at the same time efficient in the consumption of resources and with special attention to the satisfaction of its guests.
